After a solid win over Australian Nathan Healey, Bene went down in the 2nd round of the Freeman $50k Challenger in Joplin to Michael Russell 64 63. Russell is the top seed in the event and the 2nd consecutive top 100 player Benedikt has lost to after his finals match with Robert Kendrick in Dallas.
